Game career
He began to play football in the youth team of the Bahia club. From the age of seventeen he began to be involved in the first team, performing in Series C of the Brazilian championship. In the 2007 season, he was a core player and helped the team gain the right to play in Serie B.
In 2008, “ Cruzeiro ” and “ Botafogo ” began to show interest in the player, the last of which the player transferred on loan. In “Botafogo” Eduardo Neto started as a defender, but subsequently coach Alexi Steval used him as a defensive midfielder and extreme defender. In 2010, with coach Joel Santana, Eduardo became the winner of the Carioca League .

The football player scored the first and only goal in the championship of Ukraine on May 3 of the same year in the lost match to Chernomorets [6] . In total, during the season he managed to play 19 matches for the Simferopol team in the national championship and score one goal, after which he returned to his homeland [7] .
