Calendar

The WTCC 2015 calendar was approved at a meeting of the Council of the International Automobile Federation in Doha, Qatar on December 3, 2014. Twenty-four races on twelve race tracks will be held during the season. Venues of races have changed. Races in Salzburgring , Spa Francorchamps , Beijing and Macau were excluded from the calendar. The tracks of Germany and Portugal have returned to the calendar. The race in Germany will be held at the Nurburgring Nordschleife , while the Portuguese stage will take place on the new Vila Real street circuit. Two new routes were also added - in Thailand ( Buriram ) and Qatar ( Losal ).

ballast weight for other cars is calculated based on their results in the previous three stages;
in the first two stages, all cars receive 60 kg. ballast; Thus, the handicap system comes into force from the third stage.
