History
Val de Reuil is one of 9 cities specially created in the 70s of the XX century to ensure greater social stability in areas with a high concentration of the population, providing opportunities for employment and housing, as well as the placement of public and private institutions. It was founded on the territory of the commune of Le Vodreuil in 1972, in 1975 the first inhabitants appeared in it. In 1984, the new settlement received its current name - Val de Reuil. The city is designed in accordance with modern requirements for urban development, has at its core an orthogonal coordinate system; most of its streets intersect at right angles.
