The project was the brainchild of the Berlin production team Triple M, consisting of Mike Michaels, Mark Dollar and Mark Tabak (the names of all three begin with the letter "M").

The track in the style of electropop called “Super Sonic” was recorded with the idea to return to the era of breakdance of the 80s, to create something based on it. Due to the heavy rotation of the video clip on the German cable music channel VIVA and on the radio in just 10 days since the release of the single with this song on March 9, 1998, he sold it in 50,000 copies [3] [4] [2] . And in the German charts, he appeared in a very high position - immediately the 5th [4] . As a result, the song spawned a true renaissance of breakdancing [2] .

Super Sonic was released on Fuel's new dance label ( EastWest label), becoming a great start for him. As the Billboard magazine wrote in June 1998, by the time the representative of the label EastWest, by that time, the last four releases of the Music Instructor group had diverged in more than 800,000 copies [4] .

Following the “Rock You Body” single following “Super Sonic”, released on June 8, 1998, the group intended to repeat the success [4] .
