The group was formed by musicians Ric Albin (vocals), Roger Clay (guitar), Paul Motter (bass) and Kyle Raven (drums) [2] . Inspired by the garage rock of the 1960s, during the 1970s they released six singles, later published on Anthology (1987), several drummers were replaced during this period [2] [3] . The composition stabilized in the early 1980s with bassist / keyboardist David Provost (formerly in The Dream Syndicate ) and drummer Jon Gerlach. In the mid-1980s, the group was considered part of the American Paisley Underground movement, but gained more success in Europe , and in 1987 signed a contract with the German label Music Maniac [1] .
