Georg Friedrich Felix Eberti (January 26, 1812, Berlin - July 7, 1884 Arnsdorf, Silesia) is a German lawyer, amateur astronomer, scientific writer, professor at the University of Breslau.

Biography
Georg Friedrich Felix Eberti was born into the family of a Jewish banker who converted to Christianity. He grew up in Berlin, received his primary education at the Ludwig Cauer school, and also privately studied mathematics under the guidance of Jacob Steiner . From 1831 to 1834 he studied law at the universities of Berlin and Bonn. From 1840 he was an assessor in the Supreme Court, then worked as a judge in Hirschberg, Lubben and Breslau. In 1849 he defended a thesis in criminal law at the University of Breslau, and since 1854 he was an associate professor at this university. After retiring from a professorship, he was an active member of the Berlin Literary Club.
Eberti's work was quite diverse - from writings on astronomy to biographies of famous writers. Major works: Die Gestirne und die Weltgeschichte (1846; this work on astronomy was translated into English the same year without his permission); Walter Scott (1860); “Lord Byron” (1862); “Geschichte des preussischen Staats” (1866-1873, 7 volumes); as well as Jugenderinnerungen eines alten Berliners (1878).
