Roberts, Alice (anthropologist)

Roberts was born in Bristol, England, in 1973. She studied at the College of Medicine at the University of Wales (now part of Cardiff University ), which she graduated in 1997. After graduation, she worked at the University of Bristol , where in 1999 she became a lecturer. In 2008, she received a PhD degree in paleopathology ^[4] .

Roberts is co-host of the BBC series on coastal geography and ecology. In 2009, her five-part show on the evolution and early human migrations of The Incredible Human Journey was released on BBC Two. In 2010, she became the leading archaeological program Digging for Britain . She also presented the series Origins of Us , released in 2011 and talking about how the human body has adapted over the past 7 million years ^[5] . In May and June 2013, the Ice Age Giants , a three-part documentary series on prehistoric mammals from the Ice Age , was broadcast.

Roberts presented several episodes of the Horizon television series, including Are We Still Evolving? in 2011 and Is Your Brain Male or Female? in 2014.

Roberts lives next to Bristol with her husband and two children ^{[6] [7]} . He is a vegetarian ^[8] and an atheist ^[9] .
