The Superior Foes of Spider-Man ( Russian Perfect enemies of Spider-Man ) is a comic book series published by Marvel Comics from July 2013 to November 2014 [1] . The comic book by Nick Spencer and Steve Lieber began as part of the Superior Spider-Month event [2] , which made big changes to the storylines about Spider-Man after The Superior Spider-Man # 13, where Alistair Smythe died and Spider-Man ( Otto Octavius ) received a new costume and a new headquarters. In The Superior Foes of Spider-Man, Spider-Man does not appear - he is mentioned several times, but the heroes of the comic are the negative characters - the new composition of the Sinister Six .

Synopsis
The new head of the Sinister Six, now made up of Shocker , Overdrive, Speed Demon and the new Beetle costume wearer, Janice Lincoln, is Boomerang. Recently, Six has lost the sixth member of the team and does not enjoy special authority, and the mood in the team is not too bright. All their plans end the same way - Spider-Man always catches them, and if he is busy, the Avengers or other heroes come.
Creation
In March 2013, Marvel Comics released the teaser Superior Spider-Week , in which in May the Superior Foes of Spider-Man was announced simultaneously with the Superior Spider-Man Team-Up [3] . All of these series, in turn, became part of the second wave of Marvel NOW! - New Marvel Comic Branding. Spencer nurtured the idea of writing a comic strip about a team of little-known supervillains, but he was genuinely surprised when he received a green light from Marvel Comics [4] .
Reviews
The Superior Foes of Spider-Man is considered the so-called sleeper hit - the comic book unexpectedly received good reviews from both critics and readers, forming a large fan base around itself, although it was not the flagship event of Marvel Comics [5] [6] . Initially, it was planned to release 13 issues, but due to the popularity of the series, their number was increased to 17. At the end of the final release, artist Steve Lieber repeated the scene after the credits of the movie “ Avengers ”, where the characters eat shawarma [7] .
