WrestleMania 31 is WWE's largest pay-per-view show in which wrestlers participate in various feuds and storylines . Wrestlers represent villains or heroes in the ring. Feuds go in such a way that at first, on ordinary episodes, the situation becomes tense, and already on the wrestling holidays themselves, this or that feud usually comes to its logical conclusion. ^{[1] [2]}

December 10, 2013 it became known about the venue of WrestleMania 31 . They became the Levays Stadium Arena, which is located in Santa Clara, California.

Tickets for this show went on sale in November 2014. In honor of this, a party was held at which WWE superstars were.

The official musical theme of the show was the track “Rise” by David Guetta and Skylar Gray . The second theme song was “Money and the Power” by Kid Ink .

At the end of February 2015, the official poster of the show was presented. It depicts Brock Lesnar , Roman Raines , John Cena , Triple H , Sting , Daniel Brian and Undertaker .

On March 17, the company announced that TV and movie star, as well as a Grammy Award winner, LL Cool J , will perform at the opening of WrestleMania 31.

On March 23, blink-182 drummer Travis Barker said in an interview that he will perform at WrestleMania 31 with Kid Ink, David Guetta and Skyler Gray.

The next day it was announced that Brock Lesnar would fight against Roman Raines in the main event of Wrestlemania 31. At PPV Fastlane, Roman Raines defeated Daniel Brian and saved his tut show at PPV WrestleMania 31. At the next RAW, Paul Hayman read a promo in the direction of Roman Raines saying that Roman Raines is the same guy - he is that guy in that place, BUT at the wrong time. The fact is that the only person that Raines cannot defeat is Brock Lesnar. And after the main event of Wrestlemania, we will hear the words “the winner and STILL the World heavyweight champion is Brock Lesnar.” But Roman insists that the question is not even whether he will defeat Brock or not, but how he will do it. On RAW of March 23, Roman Raines and Brock Lesnar finally met face to face, but there was no fight between them, Lesnar showed off with the title, but Roman took the title to himself.

On November 23, during the main PPV Survivor Series event, Sting made his first ever appearance in the main WWE roster, attacking Triple H and making a Scorpion Death Drop on it. After that, he transferred Dolph Ziggler to Seth Rollins, thereby enabling the Sina team to win the match and depriving the leadership of power, which was a secondary condition in the fight. On January 19, Raw Sting made his debut, appearing behind the scenes during the main event of the evening - the 1x3 handicap match between John Cena and the Big Show , Kane and Seth Rollins team. On February 23, Raw announced that PPV WrestleMania 31 would host the second annual Royal Battle of the Memorial Trophy in honor of Andre Giant . Miz , Curtis Axel and Raibek announced their participation in the match. February 26th at SmackDown! Fandango and Adam Rose announced their participation in the fight. On March 2, information appeared on the WWE official Facebook page that Zack Ryder was added to the match. That night, through the official WWE App, Jack Swagger , Titus O'Neill and Darren Young announced their participation in the fight. March 5th at SmackDown! Big Show and Kane announced their participation in the match. On March 9, information appeared on the WWE official website that Eric Rowan was added to the fight. On March 9 at Raw, Damien Mizdow announced his participation in the match. During WrestleMania Axxess, Hideo Itami (NXT wrestler) defeated Finn Ballor and secured a place in the battle-royal. Also at WrestleMania Axxess it was announced that the battle royal would be held at Kick-off WrestleMania 31.

On February 26, WWE’s official Facebook page revealed that WWE Intercontinental Bad News champion Barrett will defend his title in a ladder match against several opponents at PPV WrestleMania 31 . On March 2, Raw announced that R-Truth was added to the match. On March 4, information appeared on the official WWE website that Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper were added to the duel. March 5th at SmackDown! it was announced that Dolph Ziggler was added to the match. On March 9th at RAW, Stardust was added to the match. March 12th at SmackDown! Brian declared himself a participant in the match.

On January 25, after the Royal Battle, Rusev interrupted the interview with John Cena. As a result, a small brawl ensued between the wrestlers. On January 26, information appeared on the WWE official website that Rusev would defend the United States WWE title against John Cena on PPV Fastlane. On SmackDown! On January 29, John Cena entered into confrontation with Rusev and Lana. On February 9, RAEW attacked John Cena on RAW, resulting in John being injured in the eye. On February 16, RAW attacked Rusev after his promo on RAW. At PPV, Fastlane Rusev defeated Sina and retained the United States WWE title. The following weeks, Sina offered Rusev a rematch, which was constantly refused. Stephanie McMan announced that Sina would not participate in PPV WrestleMania 31 if Rusev did not agree to the fight. On March 9, Raw Sina attacked Rusev after he defeated Curtis Axel. Rusev refused to give up after the STF held at him until Lana agreed on behalf of Rusev to a rematch for the United States WWE title at PPV WrestleMania 31 . At RAW on March 16, Rusev and John Cena signed a contract for the match. At the RAW of March 23, Rusev defeated Jack Swagger, but after the match John Cena ran out and a fight broke out between Sina and Rusev, during which Rusev emerged victorious.

On March 2, Raw Page defeated divis champion Nicky Bell for disqualification after Bree Bella attacked Page. Thus, Nikki retained the title. Bree and Nikki attacked Paige, and then after an injury, AJ Lee returned and helped Paige. March 5th at SmackDown! AJ Lee defeated Bree Bell after Page did not allow Nikki Bell to interfere in the fight. On March 9, WWE announced on the official WWE website that AJ Lee and Page would fight Bell Twins at PPV WrestleMania 31 .

After Royal Rumble (2015), Bray began to read mysterious promos on weekly newspapers in which he addressed someone, and at the end he always said “Find me.” In his promo, it was clear that Bray was alluding to the Undertaker. At PPV Fastlane, Bray Wyatt challenged the Undertaker at PPV WrestleMania 31 . On March 9th at Raw Undertaker, he accepted Wyatt's challenge for the match at PPV WrestleMania 31 . Subsequently, Bray Wyatt read out a promo to the Undertaker.

On Raw on November 3, Rollins defeated Orton in a single player duel. After the match, Randy Orton attacked Rollins, Player, Kane, Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury. After that, the Player decided to remove Orton not only from the team, but also from the Guide itself, then Hunter ordered to “finish” with him. Seth Rollins injured Orton Kerb Stomb on the commentator's table and on the steel steps. Orton returned to PPV Fastlane where he attacked The Authority, but he could not get to Rollins. After the match, Orton tried to make a punt kick on Rollins, but Orton played an RKO with Jamie Noble, after which he angrily raised Rollins to his feet, but then simply patted him on the shoulder and left the ring. On the next RAW, Randy Orton helped Seth Rollins defeat Roman Raines. On March 9th RAW, Randy Orton put everything in the face of The Authority into what he thinks of them. The same match was scheduled that evening against the Rollins vs. Rollins and Orton. During the match, Randy refused to fight Rollins and showed his middle fingers after which Raines kept Seth. After the match, Randy brutally attacked Seth Rollins by sending him RKO to the commentary table. On the next SmackDown! Randy Orton challenged the match at WrestleMania 31 against Seth Rollins. On the March 16 RAW, Seth accepted Orton's challenge for the match at PPV WrestleMania 31 . On March 23, RAW, Randy Orton defeated Seth Rollins, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble in an unequal match.

At PPV Fastlane, Cesaro and Tyson Kidd defeated the Uso Brothers and became the new WWE Team Champions. On March 23, WWE's official website revealed that WWE Team Champions Cesaro and Tyson Kidd would defend their titles from the Uso Brothers, Los Matadores and The New Day (Big Y & Kofi Kingston).
