He has been playing for the Toyota Verlitz team since 2000. He studied in New Zealand, where he gained experience in playing rugby.

He made his debut in the Japanese team in a test match on May 13, 2001 against the South Korean national team (he played in the flanker position). As prop, he played the first game on May 19, 2002 against Russia . He scored the only five points in his career for the national team on April 29, 2007 in a match against Hong Kong , taking a try. Member of the World Championships 2003 and 2007. Silver medalist at the 2002 Asian Rugby 15 Summer Games.
