Hanzo Nepila ( N.-puddle. Hanzo Njepila , August 1, 1766 , Rivne, Puddle , Saxony - June 20, 1856 , Rivne, Saxony) - Serbluzhitsky folk writer. The first secular Serboluzhitsky writer. In his writings, he used the Slepian (East Frontier ) dialect of the Lower Luzhitsky language .

Biography
Born on August 1, 1766 in a poor peasant family of the shepherd Slabke in the Serboluzhitsky village of Rivne. He was engaged in agriculture. As a peasant, he wrote notes for himself, which gradually took shape in 30 manuscripts, mainly of an autobiographical and religious nature. Most of the manuscripts were buried by relatives in his grave during the funeral. Only five manuscripts were preserved, which the parish priest Matei Handrik left for himself, who later published excerpts from these works in the journal Časopis Maćicy Serbskeje . In 2004, the writings of Hanzo Nepila were published in No. 35 of the scientific publication Spisy Serbskeho institute of the Serboluzhitsky Institute .
Memory
- In the village of Rivne, the home of Hanzo Nepila was restored. Currently, this house houses a museum exhibition dedicated to the writer.
