History

The village was founded in 1951 as a working village near the granite deposit.

In the mid-1970s, the basis of the village’s economy was granite mining [2] .

Until December 11, 2014, it was part of the Telmanovsky district [2] , December 11, 2014 - was reassigned to the Volnovakha district [3] .
