Content
History
The village was founded in 1951 as a working village near the granite deposit.
In the mid-1970s, the basis of the village’s economy was granite mining [2] .
Until December 11, 2014, it was part of the Telmanovsky district [2] , December 11, 2014 - was reassigned to the Volnovakha district [3] .

The city-forming enterprise is the Karansky stone quarry . Granite mining, sand and gravel production.

The village is located 10 km from the nearest railway station Karan on the line Donetsk - Mariupol [2]
