Biography
Born into a shoemaker's family. He studied at the philological faculty of Kiev University . In 1939 he was called up for service in the Red Army .
Member of World War II.
After demobilization from the army, he lived and worked in Odessa. In 1946-1951 He headed the Odessa Writing Organization. Member of the CPSU since 1944.
Creativity
It was published since 1940. He began his career with lyric and lyric-epic poems, over time, more often performed in the satirical-humorous genre.
The first collection of “Swords and Strings” was released in 1945. Front-line themes, peaceful everyday life, courage of sea workers, melodies of “heart strings” are the main theme of the poetic heritage of E. Bandurenko.
The poet put satire and humor at the service of the moral and ethical “sanitation” in the socialist hostel. He used the weapon of laughter against the ideological enemies of the USSR.
