Bmography
In 1904 he was appointed secretary of the Patriarchate of Alexandria [1] .
On August 6, 1905 he was ordained to the rank of deacon , and on April 3, 1911 - to the rank of priest [1] .
On November 15, 1919, he was consecrated Metropolitan of Ptolemaida , the Iertim and Exarch of The Second Thebaid [2] , with the chair of Minier , Egypt [1] .
December 9, 1931 moved to the Pilusian Metropolis [1] .
In March 1956, Patriarch Christopher II, for health reasons, handed over the rule of the Church to Metropolitan Pilusius Parthenius. The Metropolitan convened the Synod, which devoted its meetings to the study of the financial situation of the Patriarchate. While the session of the Synod lasted, the Patriarch suddenly announced in June of the same year that he was taking the reins of government. The acute crisis was avoided thanks to the pacifying actions of Metropolitan Nicholas of Axum [3] .
From September 24 to October 1, 1961 he headed the delegation of the Alexandrian Orthodox Church at the First Pan-Orthodox Conference on the island of Rhodes [4] .
He died on February 28, 1964 in Alexandria [1] .
