Biography

Born in with. Luka Tarashchansky district of Kiev region . In 1922-1925, statistics were at the Koshevat branch of state insurance. In 1925-1927, a repair worker on the Ussuri railway. In 1927-1931 he studied at the Far Eastern University .

  • 1931-1932 engineer of the Dalzavod;
  • 1932-1934 Senior Engineer of the Rechsoyuzverf Trust (Moscow);
  • 1935-1936 Head the welding laboratory of the Nefteprovodstroy trust of Glavneft of the People’s Commissariat of Industry;
  • 1933-1936 part-time assistant to the Moscow Electromechanical Institute of Transport Engineers .

Since 1936 he worked at the Moscow Scientific Research Institute - MING. I. M. Gubkina: associate professor of the department of transport and storage of oil and gas, in 1938-1947 the head. Department of Petroleum Materials Science and General Technology of Metals; in 1947-1959 Dean of the Petrochemical Faculty; in 1959-1970 the head. Department of construction of pipelines and storage facilities.

Candidate (1938), Doctor of Technical Sciences (1946), Professor (1947).

Author of monographs, textbooks and reference books:

  • "Welding of pipelines" (1944),
  • "Welding of gas pipelines" (1945),
  • "Technology of welding and installation of trunk pipelines" (1960, 1971),
  • "Handbook of welding in construction" (co-authored, 1962, 1971),
  • “The construction of trunk pipelines” (1964).

Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR (1965).

He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor (1943), medals "For the Defense of Moscow", "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", "In Memory of the 800th Anniversary of Moscow". Excellent student of the Ministry of gas industry of the USSR.

He was buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery .
