It is actually a deserted settlement; there are no residential buildings and no registered residents in the village.
Content
Title
The village is named by the name of Suitcases. In these places in 1571 the Ryazan scribe Matvey Ushakov, the son of Chemodanov, decorated the village of Ukhor suburb in the possession of Lezhnev and Golitsyn.
Geography
Chemodanovo is located in the northeastern part of the Korablinsky district , 20 km north-east of the district center .

- Kurbatovo village, 2.5 km to the east along a dirt road;
- the village of Semion , 3 km to the south-west along a dirt road.
History
In the scribal books of the Kamensky camp of 1628–1629, the village Chemodanovskaya, Chemodanovskaya road, and Chemodanovsky watering are mentioned.
In 1676, the village Chemodanovo was located in the parish church of the village of Kurbatovo.
