Weissenhof

Weissenhof is a residential village in Stuttgart , built in 1927 completely in the style of the New Construction ( Neues Bauen ) for the German Werkbund exhibition.

In total, 21 residential buildings were built according to the projects of famous German and European architects. During the Second World War, part of the houses was destroyed by bombing. Later, in the 1950s, two more houses were demolished. As of 2006, 11 original houses have been preserved.
