Biography

He graduated from a sports school in Zakopane . He made his World Cup debut on January 21, 2006 at the stage in Sapporo, taking 19th place there and earning first points.

In 2013, at the world championships in skiing in Val di Fiemme, in the team competition on the big springboard (HS 134), he won the bronze medal in the Polish national team [1] . March 17, 2013 at the World Cup in Oslo won his first victory, while sharing the first place with Gregor Schlierenzauer [2] .

He took part in the Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014 , where he took 4th place with the team and 34th on the big springboard.

And on March 22, 2014, at the final team competitions of the World Cup 2013/14 season, held in Planitsa, he set a new record for a large springboard, jumping 141 m [3] .

At the 2015 World Championships in Falun, Peter Zhila again became the third in the team competitions on the big springboard (HS 134), and also showed her best individual result - 9th place on the big springboard.
