Biography
Nikolai Sergeevich Oganesov was born in Rostov-on-Don in the family of a lawyer (his father is one of the first post-war leaders of the Presidium of the Kaliningrad Regional Bar Association). Nikolai Oganesov began his career in 1964 as a milling machine operator. From 1967, he served as the court secretary of the tribunal of the North Caucasus Military District and at the same time studied at the law faculty of Rostov University, which he graduated in 1972 . He served in the Soviet army.
In 1972, began to publish. In 1974 - 1989 he worked as a legal adviser in the Scientific Research Institute of Heavy Engineering, at the same time actively published in regional and metropolitan publishing houses, in the journal Smena . Since 1989, he worked as head of the department of the Don magazine , and since 1995, as editor of a private publishing house.
Member of the USSR Writers' Union since 1983. Since 1991 - a member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR.
The works of Nikolay Oganesov are translated and published in Czech (1984, 1987, 1988), Chinese (1989), Lithuanian (1990) languages. N. Oganesov is the author of the script for the television film The Boy on the Swing (2 episodes, Len. Television, 1985); co-authored the scenarios of feature films “To Kill the Jackal” (A. Dovzhenko Film Studio, 1991) and “Istanbul Transit” (A. Dovzhenko Film Studio, 1993).
He created: the libretto of the operetta "Orpheus in hell" to the music. J. Offenbach (premiere at the Rostov State Musical Theater (RGMT), September 2003); the libretto of the ballet “Romeo and Juliet” to the music of S. Prokofiev (premiere at the Russian State Museum of Music, February 2006); the libretto of the ballet “Hamlet” to the music of D. Shostakovich (premiere at the Russian State Museum of Music, May 2008); the libretto of the ballet “Drama on the Hunt” to the music of P. Tchaikovsky (premiere at the Russian State Musical Theater, June 2010); the libretto of the ballet “Corsair” to the music of A. Adan (premiere at the Russian State Music Academy, June 2011).
Since 2006, under the pseudonym of Nikolai Vossenago writes and publishes poems on the Internet. On the site "Verses.ru" opened a page with his works. In 2010 came the poetry collection "Ebony Bunny".
In 2017, the publishing house Arkol (Rostov-on-Don) published a book of selected works "The Decline of a Wizard" in 2 volumes.
Nikolai Oganesov twice, in 1980 and 1984, was honored with the literary prize of the magazine “Smena”, in 1984 he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Komsomol Central Committee for his great work in the communist education of young people, in 2006 he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Culture of Russia.
He lives in the city of Rostov-on-Don.
