Flag of Polovinsky district

The flag of the region is a banner whose width and length are correlated as 2: 3. The cloth consists of two colored halves with a vertical wall-toothed border between them: in the left, red, crossed caduceus and flail, in the right, green, crossed flail and Cossack peak; all figures are yellow.

The flip side of the flag is a mirror image of its front side ^[2] .

The flag is raised constantly above (or on the flagpole installed in front of) the buildings of the district Duma and the district administration.

The flag is permanently installed in the offices of the Head of the district, the chairman of the regional Duma and their deputies.

The flag is set in the meeting rooms (for the entire duration of the meetings) of the district Duma, the district administration, and the municipal election commission.

When official mourning is declared, the flag mounted on the flagpole (mast) is lowered to half the height of the flagpole (mast). A black ribbon tied with a bow with loose-hanging ends is attached to the flag fixedly mounted on the flagpole at the top of the flagpole. The total length of the tape is equal to the length of the flag.

11 designs of emblems and flags were developed. As a result of the survey, which was attended by the heads of village councils, deputies, workers of enterprises, organizations and institutions, the population of the Polovinsky district, one of the coat of arms and flag designs was approved by the decision of the Polovinsky District Duma ^[3] .
