The coat of arms was approved by the decision of the Polovinsk District Duma of November 27, 2014 No. 172 [1] .
Content
Description
“In a stenotooth gear dissected by a scarlet and green field, in the scarlet - caduceus crosswise with a flail, in greenery - flail crosswise with a Cossack peak. All figures are golden.
The shield is crowned with a municipal crown - golden about five visible pointed teeth ” [2] .
The crown crowning the shield is the heraldic crown of dignity befitting the area as a municipality. The coat of arms can be reproduced both in the full version (with a crown), and in a shortened version (without a crown). Both versions of the coat of arms are equal and have the same status [3] .
Creation of the coat of arms
11 emblem designs were developed. As a result of the survey, which was attended by the heads of village councils, deputies, workers of enterprises, organizations and institutions, the population of the Polovinsky district, one of the coat of arms and flag designs was approved by the decision of the Polovinsky District Duma [4] .
