Biography
Vasily Ivanovich Lvov was born in 1832 in the Smolensk province in the family of a clergyman.
After graduating from the St. Petersburg Medical and Surgical Academy in 1861, he began serving in the Stavropol Military Hospital. Since 1865, Lviv was engaged in medical practice at the St. Petersburg Medical and Surgical Academy and already in 1866 received a doctorate in medicine . In the same year, Vasily Ivanovich resigned for several years.
During the Russo-Turkish war and until 1881, Lvov worked in a hospital under the Russian army in Bulgaria . From 1882 until his death, Vasily Ivanovich headed the Main Military Medical Directorate .
Vasily Ivanovich Lvov died on December 31, 1887 in St. Petersburg .
