Nikolai Akimovich Gudim-Levkovich (1796-1866) - officer of the Cavalier Guard regiment, Vasilkovsky district leader of the nobility.

Biography

The son of Lieutenant Akim Ivanovich Gudim-Levkovich. Had 718 souls at the village of Teleshovka, Vasilkovsky district, Kiev province.

In 1815 he graduated from the Kharkov gymnasium . Then he studied at the Noble hostel at Moscow University , whose incomplete course he graduated in 1818. The following year, he joined the Pskov Infantry Regiment as an ensign. In 1820 he was promoted to warrant officer and on November 20 of that year he was transferred to the standard junker in the Cavalier Guard regiment "for joint service with a relative." February 22, 1824 he was made a cornet , and in 1827 - a lieutenant . On December 24, 1828 he was elected regimental treasurer, in which position he held more than eight years. In 1832 he was promoted to headquarters captain , in 1834 - captain .

December 14, 1825 was in the ranks of a regiment, standing surrounded by the Decembrists . He participated in the Polish campaign of 1831 , for which he was awarded the Order of St. 3rd degree Anna with a bow. In 1833 he received the Monarchal favor "for a prudent order that contributed to the rapid cessation of the fire" near the barracks of the Cavalier Guard regiment. On January 12, 1837, he was dismissed for domestic reasons with the rank of colonel and the right to wear his uniform. Upon leaving the regiment, he was noted by the gratitude of his successor as treasurer for the order and proper arrangement of affairs in the treasury.

In 1844-1861 he was Vasilkovsky district leader of the nobility . He was awarded the Order of St. Anne of the 2nd degree (1846), the same order with the imperial crown (1857) and the Order of St. Vladimir of the 4th degree (1857).

Family

He was married to Ekaterina Ivanovna. Their children:

  • Sergey (1842-1886), Kiev governor. He was married to Varvara Pavlovna Alferyeva.
  • Alexander, chairman of the Kiev branch of the Russian Musical Society. He was married to the daughter of a cavalry guard Sofya Nikolaevna Bakhmeteva.
  • Catherine (b. 1846)
