Biography
Born in a family of Old Believers . He converted to Orthodoxy. Originally from the peasants of the village of Ogryzkovo of the Yegoryevsky district of the Ryazan province. He graduated from the public school in St. Petersburg. A worker of the Khludov factory in Yegoryevsk (spinner, weaver, rejecter). He was the owner of the allotment of land in the village of Ogryzkovo . Before being elected to the Duma, he sympathized with the party of βpeople's freedom,β but on Polish, Jewish and agrarian issues, he did not agree with its program [3] .
On April 15, 1906 he was elected to the State Duma of the first convocation from the general electors of the Ryazan Provincial Electoral Assembly as a representative of factory workers [4] . He entered the Labor Group [5] . He did not participate in the work of the Duma commissions.
The fate and date of death is unknown.
