Biography
Orest Efimovich Lozinsky was born in 1843 in the city of Bratslav of the Polish province in the family of the archpriest .
He studied at the City Seminary, subsequently - at the St. Petersburg Theological Academy and St. Petersburg University .
After graduating from the university, Orest Efimovich began cooperation with periodicals such as “The Word of the World”, “The Modern Leaflet” and “Modernity”. He edited the newspaper "Modernity" together with Vasily Vasilyevich Grechulevich , and then with Albert Vikentyevich Starchevsky .
Orest Efimovich Lozinsky died on August 8, 1888 at the age of 45 years in St. Petersburg from mental illness.
Publications
Orest Efimovich belongs to the only brochure "Russian language in connection with the history of Russian education" [1] .
