Maki Goto ( Japanese 後 藤 真 希 Goto: Maki , born September 23, 1985) is a Japanese singer, actress, and a former member of the girl group Morning Musume .

Biography
She became a member of Morning Musume in 1999 according to the results of the third set in the group (the so-called “listening to the third generation”) [2] . Her official debut in show business took place on September 9 of the same year, when Morning Musume released the single “Love Machine” - the first one in which she participated. At that time, she was only 13 years old [1] [3] Moreover, in this single, Maki Goto was immediately placed in a central position (that is, centered in choreography). The single became a huge hit, bringing the group wildly popular, and Maki Goto - became the most popular member of the group. Both children and adults who all heard about the group then knew Gomaki (her nickname / diminutive name in the group) [4] .
She recorded many big hits with the group [1] . It is believed that it was with her appearance in the group that a huge jump in the popularity of Morning Musume was associated - the group's singles began to diverge in million circulations. Subsequently, success was consolidated by the arrival of the fourth generation in March 2000.

Personal life: July 21, 2014 announced a near marriage for an ordinary person. On February 22, 2015, the wedding ceremony was officially held. December 7, 2015 gave birth to a daughter. In October 2016, she reported a second pregnancy. March 24, 2017 gave birth to a son.
