The 2007 Formula Renault 3.5 season is the third season of this series. It consisted of 17 races; It began on April 14 on the Monza highway and ended on October 28 on the Catalunya highway.

Rules Changes
Technical
In the 2007 season, world-class cars are equipped with a push to pass system similar to that used in the Champ Car series . To increase the number of overtaking pilots are allowed to increase engine power for 60 seconds.
Also modified gearbox, shock absorbers, traction control and control system. [one]
Sports
- The duration of the first race is increased to approximately 45 minutes.
- The starting grid of the first race is determined by the results of a 20-minute qualification session, the second race - by the results of the finish of the first with a turn of the first 10 pilots.
- Qualification leaders earn points. 30 pilots are divided into 2 groups, each of which holds 20-minute sessions, the leaders of which receive 4 points, the second pilots - 2 and the third - one point.
