Nazeris franzi (lat.) Is a species of short-winged beetles of the genus Nazeris from the subfamily Paederinae ( Staphylinidae ). The Himalayas [1] .

South Asia, Himalayas : Nepal (Zentral-Nepal; Bagmati, Mulkharka, Thare Pati) [1] .
Description
Small-sized, short-winged beetles, mostly black (antennae and legs yellowish). Body length from 6.7 to 8.0 mm. From the closely related species Nazeris elegans differs in the structure of the 8th sternite of the male and his genitals. Antennae are attached at the front edge of the head. Tarsal formula (number of segments of the tarsus): 5-5-5. Hind legs metacoxes narrow, triangular [1] .
Systematics
The species was first described in 1975 by French entomologist and caver Henri Coiffait ( Henri Coiffait ; 1907-1989), the valid status of the taxon was confirmed in 2014 during an audit by German coleopterologist Volker Assing (Dr. Volker Assing , Hannover , Germany ). The species epithet is given in honor of the collector of the model series, Professor H. Franz [1] [2] .
