Founded in 1885. The name probably came from the Evenk : "beings" - the river; another variant from the distorted Evenki: “beating” is a big river [2] .

The village of Burma is located north of the village. Seryshevo , in the north of Seryshevsky district, on its administrative border with Mazanovsky district .
