Biography
N. S. Chikirev was born on January 27, 1927 in Moscow in a working class family. In 1942, at the end of 7 classes, he came to work at the Moscow Ordzhonikidze Machine-Tool Plant. He started with a student turner. In 1943, he set a record for the processing of worms in the gearbox, completing the 31 norm per shift. Then he became a foreman. In his team worked as a turner L. G. Zykina . Later he graduated from ShRM and Moscow State Technical University named after N. Bauman . On the job he worked in the Komsomol organs. Member of the Central Committee of the Komsomol (1951-1958). He consistently became the head of the workshop, chief technologist, chief engineer of the plant, since 1978 - its general director. Over the years, the plant regularly overfulfilled the plan, its products were successfully exported. At the XIX Conference of the CPSU made a sharp criticism of the then 1st Secretary of the CIM B. N. Yeltsin . At the end of 1988, at the factory party conference, Chikirev's work was sharply criticized; numerous facts of registration were revealed, huge debts of the plant were revealed. On the eve of the conference, Chikiryov submitted an application with a request to release him from the management of the plant for health reasons [1] . N. S. Chikiryov died on August 17, 1996 . He was buried in Moscow on the Don Cemetery .
