Biography
He was born on May 31 [2] 1962 in the family of Vladimir Vladimirovich and Ekaterina Efimovna, where there were nine children [2] .
Soon the Yevtikheevs moved to Irkutsk , where Ivan Yevtikheev graduated from high school and received his first working profession [2] .
From Irkutsk, he was called up for military service in the naval units of the border troops [1] .
After demobilization, he entered the Moscow Theological Seminary [1] , which he graduated in 1988. In the same year he continued his studies at the Moscow Theological Academy (MDA).
On August 21, 1990, the MDA inspector Archimandrite Sergius (Sokolov) was tonsured a monk with the name Photius in honor of the martyr Photius [3] .
On August 28, 1990, he was ordained Archbishop Alexander of Dmitrov (Timofeev) to the Hierodeacon , and on September 9 the same Reverend - to Hieromonk [3] .
In 1992, he graduated from the Moscow Academy of Arts with a candidate of theology degree , after which he was enlisted in the staff of teachers of the Moscow Theological Seminary [3] .
In 1994, Hieromonk Photius was sent to teaching at the Tobolsk Theological Seminary . At that time, it was the only spiritual school from the Urals to Kamchatka. In 1994 he was appointed inspector of the Tobolsk Theological Seminary and elevated to the rank of abbot [2] .
From 1997 to 2002, he obeyed the Dean of the Tobolsk District of the Tobolsk-Tyumen Diocese [3] . For several years he created and nurtured an Orthodox parish in the village of Gornoslinkino [2] .
In 2004-2006, he was chairman of the Tobolsk diocesan commission for the canonization of new martyrs and confessors of Russia .
Since 2009, he transferred to the clergy of the Irkutsk diocese and was appointed keyman of the Holy Cross Church of the city of Irkutsk, a member of the diocesan council, dean of the 2nd city of Irkutsk district [3] . He was engaged in the restoration of the old Orthodox chapel "Tombs" in the working outskirts of the city [2] .
In 2014 he graduated in absentia from the philological department of Nizhnevartovsk State University .

On January 18, 2015, in the cross church in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God of the Patriarchal Residence in Chisty Lane in Moscow, Archimandrite Photius was named bishop of Yugorsky and Nyagansky [5] .
February 15, 2015 in the Church of the Presentation of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God of the Sretensky Monastery in Moscow, is ordained bishop of Ugra and Nyagan. The consecration was performed by the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill , the Metropolitan of St. Petersburg and Ladoga Barsanuphius (Sudakov) , the Metropolitan of Perm and Kungur Methodius (Nemtsov) , the Metropolitan of Tula and Efremov Alexy (Kutepov) , the Metropolitan of Tomsk and Asinovsky Rostislav (Devityat) -Mansiysky and Surgutsky Pavel (Fokin) , Bishop of Solnechnogorsk Sergius (Chashin) [6] .
