The list of UNESCO World Heritage sites in Jamaica contains 1 name (for 2016 ), this is 0.1% of the total (1121 for 2019). The only object included according to mixed criteria, and it is also recognized as a natural phenomenon of exceptional beauty and aesthetic importance (criterion vii). In addition, as of 2016, 2 objects in the state are among the candidates for inclusion in the World Heritage List [1] , both culturally. Jamaica ratified the Convention for the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage on June 14, 1983 [2] .
