Biographical information
In 1923 he graduated from the Kiev Conservatory (piano class F. Blumenfeld , M. Dombrowski, G. Neigauz ).
In 1929 he graduated from the Music and Drama Institute. N. Lysenko (piano department of the instructor-pedagogical faculty).
In 1925-1941 - soloist of the Ukrainian Philharmonic.
Since 1925 - taught at the Kiev Conservatory (in 1934-1941 assistant professor).
In 1941-1943 - professor at the Moscow and Saratov Conservatory .
In 1943-1950 - professor at the Kiev Conservatory .
In 1950-1978 - professor at the Lviv Conservatory , head of the special piano department.
Since 1978 he lived in the USA. Professor at New York University .
Among the students: S. Edelman, Yu. Osinchuk, D. Rakhmanov, M. Krykh, A. Zaderatskaya, Yu. Khurdeev.
