Biography
Friedel von Wangenheim came from a family of famous German theater actors. His grandfather is Edward von Winterstein , his parents are Inga and Gustav von Wangenheim . In the second marriage, Friedel was married to actress Renate Reinecke .
In the GDR, Wangenheim wrote plays for the Friedrichstadtpalast and songs for the male vocal quartet Die Mimosen . Friedel also played in the theater and acted in films. In 1999 he released a detective novel Kamera läuft, Herr Kommissar .
He committed suicide and was buried in the Dorotheenstadt cemetery .
