Geography
The 2nd Smirnovka settlement is located in the north of the Moscow region, in the northwestern part of Solnechnogorsk district, on the Leningradskoye Highway (federal highway M10 ), about 7 km northwest from the center of Solnechnogorsk .
In the village there are 2 streets - Dachnaya and Kirpichny Zavod, 11 gardening associations are attributed [2] . The nearest populated areas are Kozino , Koskovo and Moshnitsy [3] . There is a direct bus service to Klin , Solnechnogorsk and Moscow (routes no. 30 [4] , 37, 437 [5] ).

History
In 1966, in the village of Smirnovka-2, there were 53 households, 190 inhabitants (85 men, 105 women) lived [8] .
