European Indoor Track and Field Games 1968

The 1968 European Athletics Games were held from March 9 to 10 at the Sports Palace in Madrid , the capital of Spain . The length of the running circle in the arena was 182 meters. An electronic time recording system in running disciplines was unofficially tested at the tournament. The competition was attended by 151 athletes from 20 countries in Europe. 23 sets of medals were won (14 for men and 9 for women).
