Chentsov, Nikolai Mikhailovich

Nikolai Mikhailovich Chentsov ( November 3 [15], 1897 , Moscow , Russian Empire - December 1941 , Moscow Region , USSR ) - Russian (Soviet) scholar [1] in the humanities [2] , writer, bibliographer, member of the CPSU (b) , died in a militia near Moscow in the Great Patriotic War [3] .

Biography

Nikolai Chentsov graduated from the Department of Literature and Language of the Balashov Institute of the Saratov State University named after N. G. Chernyshevsky . Since 1922 he worked in the bibliographic office of the State Academy of Fine Arts in Moscow. Since 1925, at the State Publishing House of the RSFSR , and since 1930, at the State Publishing House of Fiction . Since 1941 - member of the CPSU (b) .

With the outbreak of World War II in the ranks of the militia went to the front. In December 1941, he died near Moscow [4] .
