Biography
Born on November 30 ( December 13 ), 1915 in the village of Prishib (now Enotaevsky District , Astrakhan Region , Russia ) [1] .
In 1939 he graduated from Leningrad University . In 1940-1942 he worked in the field parties of the Geological Administration of the Uzbek SSR [2] .
In 1942, he was drafted into the Red Army by the Lenin regional military commissariat of Tashkent [3] ; participant of the Great Patriotic War [2] . He fought as an assistant chief of the 1st division of the headquarters of the 120th Gatchina Rifle Division . He was wounded in January 1943 [3] . Demobilized in 1945 [2] .
He worked as a hydrogeologist in Uzbekistan , since 1947 - in the search and exploration of uranium deposits in the republics of Central Asia . In 1950-1954, chief geologist, party leader, in 1954-1955 chief engineer, in 1955-1989 party leader, geologist, senior geologist of the Krasnokholmsky Exploration Expedition [2] .
One of the discoverers of the Uchkuduk uranium deposit (together with V. M. Mazin, A. I. Pak , A. A. Petrenko , M. E. Poyarkova ), on the basis of which the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine was created [4] .
On October 2, 1989 he retired [5] .
