Sinjar’s resistance forces ( Kurd. Yekîneyên Berxwedana Şingal - YBŞ) is a paramilitary formation of Iraqi Yezidis . Three days after the attack of Islamic state terrorists on Sinjar (Shangal) and the invasion of Kurdish fighters from Syrian Kurdistan to protect the Yezidi population, YBŞ were created on the initiative of the YPG . Initially, experienced YPG fighters from YPG entered it until training for Yezidi volunteers from Sinjar began. A training camp "Davreshe Avdi" was organized for YBŞ, named after the famous Yezidi warrior . YBŞ participated in all the YPG military action in Sinjar. For example, fighters took part in protecting civilians in the mountains, ensured the safety of the corridor, and repelled terrorist attacks. YBŞ warriors operate in the southern Sinjar Mountains . YBŞ is also known as the Tausi Malak Brigade.
