Leka II Zogu (full name - Leka Anwar Zog Reza Baudouin Msiziwe Zogu , Alb. Leka Anwar Zog Reza Baudouin Msiziwe Zogu ) (born March 26, 1982 , Johannesburg , South Africa ) - the titular king of Albania since 2011. The only son of the Crown Prince of Albania, Lek Zogu (1939-2011) and Susan Cullen-Ward (1941-2004).

Prince Leka Albansky is an official of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Albania, and in the past worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Albania and the administration of the President of Albania .
After the death of Leka I Zogu ’s father in 2011, Albanian monarchists consider his son to be King Leka II . On November 30, 2011, he succeeded his father as head of the Zogu house, becoming the titular king of the Albanians, the head of the Order of Loyalty and the Order of Skanderbeg .

Early life
The only son of the Albanian crown prince Leki Zogu and Susan Cullen Ward . At the time of his birth, the government of the Republic of South Africa stated that the maternity ward is located on Albanian territory to verify that Leka was born on Albanian soil. Named after the President of Egypt, Anwar El-Sadat , his grandfather, King of Albania, Zogu I , Shah of Iran Mohammed Rez Pahlavi and King of Belgium Baudouin I. Msizive is a respected Zulu name.
Leka Zogu is a member of the royal Zogu dynasty and the hereditary bay (Albanian tribal and feudal leader) of the Gegh clan.
Education and activities
Leka Zogu received his secondary education at St. Peter's College in Johannesburg . In December 2006 he graduated from the Military Academy in Sandhurst ( UK ) as "the best foreign student of the Academy." Subsequently, the Minister of Defense of Albania congratulated him on this achievement. He also studied at the University for Foreigners in Perugia ( Italy ), then graduated from the Skanderbeg Albanian Military Academy.
Prince Lek is featured on the covers of Young and Royal in Vanity Fair in September 2003. He lives in the city of Tirana , speaks Albanian and English , and also speaks a little Zulu and Italian . He has a boxer dog , is fond of martial arts, volleyball and swimming. He also loves wildlife, mountain climbing and target shooting.
In April 2004, Leka Zogu accepted the Matter of Theresa Medal on behalf of her late grandmother, Queen Gerraldine, for her humanitarian work.
He works with youth organizations such as MJAFT !, and supports a wide range of humanitarian efforts in Albania, but he claims that he supports only the “Help yourself” project to stimulate the economic growth of Albania and Kosovo , and the Albanian newspaper Sot.
Prince Leka Zogu is also known as a supporter of Kosovo’s independence from Serbia and has close ties with Kosovo leaders in Pristina . The Royal Iliria Colleges in Pristina and Tirana operate under his supervision.
He also founded the youth branch of the Movement for National Development, which his father created in 2005 to change the political face of Albania.
On June 24, 2010, Prince Leka installed a blue plate on a house in Parmur ( Buckinghamshire ), in which his grandfather, King of Albania Ahmet Zogu , lived in exile.
Career
On August 21, 2007, Albanian Foreign Minister Lulzim Basha stated that Lek was appointed to his ministry. Two years later he was transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 2012, after the election of the President of Albania, Buyar Nishani, Lek Zogu was appointed political adviser to the president.
Personal life
On May 10, 2010, Leki’s engagement was announced with an Albanian actress and singer . [1] [2] Elijah Zaharia was born on February 8, 1983 in Tirana , Albania, her family has aristocratic roots. March 26, 2016 announced the upcoming wedding of Leki and Elia [3] [4] . The wedding took place on October 8, 2016 in Tirana [5] .
