Geography
The village of Rekino-Kresty is located in the north of the Moscow region, in the central part of the Solnechnogorsk district, on the M10 federal highway, about 3 km southeast of the center of Solnechnogorsk , with which there is a direct bus connection [2] . Two horticultural associations are attributed to the village [3] . The nearest settlements are the villages of Dubinino , Skorodumki and Talaevo [4] .

History
The plan of the General Land Survey of 1784 shows two nearby villages Rekino and Kresty [11] .

In the “List of Populated Places” of 1862, Rekino is large - the owner's village of the 1st camp of the Klinsky district of the Moscow province on the left side of the St. Petersburg-Moscow highway from Klin to Moscow, 24 versts from the county town and 2 versts from the flat, at the well , with 16 households and 96 inhabitants (48 men, 48 women); Crosses - the owner's village of the 1st camp of the Klinsky district of the Moscow province from Klin to Moscow on the St. Petersburg-Moscow highway and along the Nikolaev railway line, 24 versts from the county town and 3 versts from the stand-in apartment, with wells, with 14 yards and 121 residents (59 men, 62 women) [6] .
According to the data for 1899, Rekino and Kresty are villages of the Solnechnogorsk volost of the Klinsky district with 79 and 30 souls, respectively [8] .
In 1913, in the village of Rekino, 19 yards and the Bykov estate, in Kresty - 5 yards [12] .
The materials of the 1926 All-Union population census indicate only the village of Rekino of the Rekintsovsky village council of the Solnechnogorsk volost of the Klinsky district, 0.3 km from the Leningradskoye highway and 3.2 km from the Podsolnechnaya Oktyabrskaya railway station, there were 163 residents (82 men, 81 women), there were 34 economy, among which 32 peasant [9] .
Subsequently, the villages merged under the general name Rekino-Kresty [11] .
Since 1929 - a settlement in the Solnechnogorsk district of the Moscow district of the Moscow region. By the decree of the Central Executive Committee and the Council of People's Commissars of July 23, 1930, the okrug as an administrative territorial unit was liquidated.
