Biography
Shadie was born in 1861 in Batum in the Georgian noble family of Rustem Bey Nakashvili and his wife Fevzie Khanym [6] [7] . In 1877, during the Russo-Turkish war , the Shadie family emigrated to Istanbul, where the girl ended up at the Ottoman court. The girl was sent to Chiragan Palace and here she received a new name - Nevdyur - and a proper education. After graduating, Nevdyur was sent to the service of the valid Shevkefze Sultan . The marriage with Murad V was concluded in 1880 in the Chiragan palace, where Murad was in custody. Nevdyur herself spent here 27 years with other members of the Murad family [5] . There were no children in this marriage.
After the death of Murad in 1904, Nevdyur went to Bursa to the daughter of her husband from his fifth wife , Fatma Sultan [7] . Here she lived until 1924 , when Fatma was forced to leave the country [7] . Nevdyur returned to Istanbul and settled in Besiktas . She was not deported because she was a collateral member of the dynasty [7] . Nevdyur was no longer married and died in 1927 .
