Rita Coolidge ( born Rita Coolidge , born May 1, 1945) is an American singer and songwriter. In the 1970-1980s, her songs repeatedly hit the American national charts [1] . Together with her ex-husband Chris Kristofferson, the singer twice became the owner of a Grammy .
