Biography
He made his debut at international level competitions in 2008, speaking at the World Championships in Athletics among juniors , which took place in the Polish city of Bydgoszcz . There, Sanne stopped at the semifinal stage.
In the same year he took part in the Beijing Olympics , where he started at a distance of 100 meters . In his race, the Gambian showed time of 10.52, which allowed him to take only fifth place and was not allowed to go to the next level of competition.
At the world championships in Berlin and Daegu, Sanne started the fight in the first main round and twice dropped out of the competition according to its results.
At the opening ceremony of the London Olympics, Sanne was the standard bearer of the Gambia team during the parade of nations . In the competition at a distance of 100 meters, Sanne in the first round showed a time of 10.21, which, despite the fifth result in the race, helped him get to the semifinals. In the semifinals, he again improved the Gambia record, but with a result of 10.18 he took last place in his race and could not get into the final.
