History

The Prusyn exhibition is mentioned in the census of 1710 in the Nikolsky Gorodetsky churchyard of the Zaonezhskaya half of the Obonezhskaya pyatina [2] .

The village of Prusynia is indicated on the map of the St. Petersburg province of A.M. Wilbrecht in 1792 [3] .

On the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834, the village of Prusynia is mentioned, consisting of 31 peasant households [4] .

DESCRIPTION - the village belongs to the Treasury, the number of inhabitants under the audit: 66 m., 84 w. P.; Near it:
a) The stone church in the name of St. John the Baptist.
b) Volost government and school in a wooden house [5] . (1838)

The village of Prusynia from 31 courtyards is marked on the map of F. F. Schubert in 1844 [6] .

In the XIX century, the village administratively belonged to the Gorodishchensky volost of the 2nd camp of the Novoladozh district of the St. Petersburg province, at the beginning of the XX century - of the 1st camp.

According to the "Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province" for 1905, the village of Prusynia was part of the Prusynsky rural society [9] .

From 1917 to 1922, the village of Prusynia was part of the Prusynsky village council of the Gorodishchensky volost of the Novoladozhsky district.

Since 1922, as part of the Proletarian volost of Volkhov district .

Since 1927, as part of the Prusynogorsk village council of the Volkhov region [10] .

According to 1933, the village of Prusynia was part of the Prusyno-Gorsky village council of the Volkhov district [11] .

According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Prusynia was also part of the Prusinogorsk village council [12] [13] [14] .

In 1997, 31 people lived in the village of Prusynia, Berezhkovsky volost, in 2002 - 13 people (all Russians) [15] [16] .

In 2007, in the village of Prusynia Berezhkovsky SP - 14 people [17] .

Geography

The village is located in the southern part of the district on the right bank of the Volkhov River , west of the highway 41K-022 ( Kirishi - Gorodishche - Volkhov ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 9 km [17] .

The distance to the nearest railway station Terebochevo is 6 km [12] .
