Mizyulinsky Grove

Mizyulinsky grove - one of the groves of Barnaul . Located in the industrial area of the city. The area of the grove is about 11 hectares. Despite all attempts to save it, the grove is thinning every year. A few years ago it could be compared with a forest, now it is more likely a tree seedling. Almost every year, actions are held to plant new trees, rejuvenate and clean the grove from debris. Seedlings appeared on the site of trees, which, according to the results of the inspection by the specialists of Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Gorzelenkhoz”, were recognized as emergency. Instead of felled old birches and maples, 50 young willow trees, pyramidal poplar and Tatar maple were planted. According to experts, these tree species are most consistent with the swampy soil of the grove. Modern multi-storey buildings flush into the grove, which only worsens its current state. Part of the Mizyulinsky grove (very tormented) has still remained, and it is still possible to preserve it. Although inside the “split” some part of the trees has already disappeared.
