By the time of the recording of “TOBR”, the composition of the group had changed dramatically once again - Tony Williams assembled a new group, in which there were no members of previous compositions except himself. The new line-up includes guitarist / vocalist Laura 'Tequila' Logan, organist Webster Lewis, pianist / keyboardist David Horowitz and bassist Herb Bushler. Father Tony saxophonist Tillmon Williams (Tillmon Williams) took part in the album [3] .

Features
The surprise of the album was the focus on songs (rather than detailed instrumental) and a roll towards more commercial styles - funk and soul . The song material is presented by female vocals performed by Tequila, in which notes of classical jazz and soul are traced ( "What'cha Gonna Do Today" , "You Make It Easy" ). Mystic Knights Of The Sea , in turn, presents a structurally complex fusion piece. However, many tracks, especially in the second half of the album, sound more like unfinished studio jams . Work on the album for Williams was overshadowed by the knowledge that the contract with Polydor that was coming to an end would not be extended [3] , which was probably ironically reflected in the album title and cover art.
Characteristically, Webster Lewis after several years retrained from jazz to disco [4] .

The album did not receive widespread criticism in the press [3] [5] . Allmusic rated the album 2 points out of 5 [6] . Users of Rate Your Music rated the album 3.38 out of 5 points out of 29 ratings [7] .
