Biography
Born in 1901 in the village of Elistanji. His father sent him to study in a madrasah . He graduated from teacher training courses in Grozny , after which he returned to his native village, where he worked as a teacher [1] .
He began to write poetry while studying at teacher courses. His first works were published on the pages of the newspaper Serlo in 1923. Almost all the famous poems of the poet were originally published in this newspaper [1] .
In 1935, in Moscow in the collection "Poets of the Chechen-Ingushetia" his poems were first published in translation into Russian . In 1937, a poetic anthology “Poets of Soviet Chechen-Ingushetia” was published in Pyatigorsk , in which his works were also included. In 1937, the only lifetime collection of poems by A. Dudayev was published in Grozny, which was called "Partisan Songs" [1] .
October 24, 1937 was accused of nationalism and anti-Soviet activities and arrested . On December 2, 1937, Dudaev was sentenced to capital punishment . The sentence was carried out on December 24, 1937. On August 19, 1958 he was rehabilitated [1] .
Family
Musa Dudayev’s son is an artist of theater and cinema, an actor of the Chechen Drama Theater named after H. Nuradilov , People’s Artist of the RSFSR , Chechnya and Ingushetia .
