Bogdanikh is a village in the Ivanovo district of the Ivanovo region of Russia , the center of the Bogdanikh rural settlement of the Ivanovo region.

Geography
Bogdanikha is located on the outskirts of Kokhma , 4.5 km southeast of Ivanovo . The river Uvod flows through Bogdanikh.
History
The first mention of Bogdanikh appeared in the XVII century. The first settler of the village was the landowner Bogdanov [2] . In the 50s of the 19th century, a sieve printing factory was founded, and a washing-bleach on the Uvod River. Before the revolution, there were two chapels in the village - wooden and stone. In 1911, it was built in Bogdanikh, and in 1912 a zemstvo school was opened. In the 1930s, collective farms were created, which were then combined into the Ivanovsky state farm. A local clay brick artel is organized. In the 1950s and 60s, three-story houses were erected, a shop, a living room, a post office, a club, a kindergarten, a canteen for farm workers were built. In 1963, the Bogdanikh school became a ten-year-old.

Infrastructure
Today Bogdanikha has all the necessary infrastructure for life: a school, a village club, shops, a post office, a car service. On the highway P152 are the traffic police post and gas station.
Ecology
Ivanovo city-wide treatment facilities are located in Bogdanikh, the spent sludge of which is almost never used due to the high content of heavy metal salts and other toxic substances in it. Sludge is a source of hazardous environmental pollution [5] .
