Jules von Mole ( him. Julius von Mohl ; October 25, 1800 , Stuttgart - January 4, 1876 , Paris ) - French linguist and orientalist of German origin. Brother Robert and Hugo Mole .

Biography
Received a classical education in Tübingen . In 1823, he went to Paris, where he studied Persian at the Special School of Oriental Languages (École speciale des langues orientales vivantes) under Professor A.I. Silvestre de Sacy .
From 1826 to 1833, he was a professor at Tubingen University, having received permission to continue his studies abroad, spent several years in London and Oxford .
Later he settled in France, received citizenship, in 1844 was admitted to the Academy of inscriptions and elegant literature , in 1847 became a professor of Farsi at the College de France .
He was an active member of the Asian Society, Assistant Secretary (1841-1852), Secretary (1852-1867), President from 1867 until his death in 1876.
The main work of Praying is the capital edition of Shahname , entitled The Book of Kings by Abulkasim Firdousi , publication, translation and commentary by Mr. Jules Mohl (in 7 volumes, 1838-1878). The author of works about Zarathustra , Confucius
